Video Tour Diary Day 10: Part-Time Partners; And 1 for the Road

Tour

The last stop of the Rebels Tour '09 was in Washington, D.C., visiting with Rebel Cynthia Calvert, co-director of the Project for Attorney Retention.

Her organization helps law firms understand why work/life balance is in their financial interest. We interviewed her in the D.C. offices of the ABA.

On Friday afternoon, we visited with a dozen students at the Washington bureau of Northwestern's Medill School of Journalism, of which Tour crew member Rachel Zahorsky is a proud graduate. We told them about the multimedia aspects of the Rebels project -- which is the kind of journalism most of them will be practicing in the years ahead.

Our final tour diary takes a look back at the whole Tour -- what we've learned from our Rebels and our readers, and personal high and low points:

And here's a look at the final day in photos and music:

Well, Molly’s family will now be able to celebrate her return, and she can put the Mommy guilt aside, and things will soon be settling down to normal back at the ABA.  Now (although I will grant that it might appear I was unable to get the Tour Crew to do a song), I suspect they actually did at least one (as part of that “slapstick silliness” Rachel was talking about) while off-camera.  After all, the crew really was off-camera far more of the tour than they were on.  So, it stands to reason that it did happen.  That is my take on it, at least!
